Thanks to our
impeccable random luck strategy, our robot did surprisingly well (surprising
to us, considering all the previous bad luck involving dead batteries,
dead sensors, and HandyBoards catching on fire). In the final round,
our robot "Yes, We Caught On Fire" was near the middle of
the pack, and with more luck we would have done better (several half
inch instances from scoring and voting), but the feng-shui of the
board wasn't in our favor. Nevertheless, it was a solid design with
very good code. Thanks to the gyroscope, even our random 80 degree
turns were accurate. Overall, it was a great learning process for
all of us, and we had a great time.
Yup, that's it.
