materials are moved in place.

- 2007 - Snakes on a Plane: Robots compete to become the next Sam J by herding snakes into territories.

- 1996 - RoboAnt or Artificial Entomology: Rival ant colonies compete in an attempt to stockpile food cubes to survive the long winter.
